Randy Wise set a new ELR World Record at the 2019 NRA Extreme Long-Range Nationals, a feat that is considered a significant milestone in the sport of extreme long-range shooting. He achieved this remarkable feat by shooting a distance of 2,158 yards, landing three shots on a 36-inch target within 3 minutes. According to the rules, neither the shooter nor the rifle could have fired within the previous five hours. This record showcases exceptional precision, discipline, and technical skill, setting a new benchmark in the demanding sport of extreme long-range shooting.
Ammerman Arms was honored to host champion shooter Randy Wise at their manufacturing facility in Cynthiana, KY. During his visit, Randy toured the operation and had the opportunity to test fire the new 6mm Max cartridge, loaded with Ammerman Arms' precision-crafted 6mm 68Gr HPFB and 6mm 68Gr HPBT bullets. The testing was conducted using Ammerman's in-house ballistics lab, testing facility, and shooting range.
